I love the raw food yogi(ni) concept!

I was thinking about this like a few days ago in my yoga class. Bascially labeling myself a raw food yogi, and I liked it!

Wow, yeah, totally. You are most welcome! I was surprised someone hadn't created it before I did. I guess I felt a deep calling to, like it was my spiritual duty. The idea just kept speaking to me... Peace Out, Divine Bro...

I dunno, it's a bit of a funky name, I realize this. :) Um, I guess just because this is a place both for the "yo(gi)" and the "yo(gi)ni", or the "raw(gi)" and the "raw(gi)ni". So instead of saying just Rawgini (with the one "gi" in the name), I added another "gi" (threw the "gi" bit from yogi in there as well) in order to cover the male and the female in there, "God and Goddess", if you will. I felt that otherwise the name might sound sexist because it would just be in reference to the female yogini (rawgini). (Also, there is the occassional transgendered person, so I wanted to marry the "rawgi" and "rawgini" for that reason as well, so as not to leave anyone outta the mix.) Um, did that all just make sense? I could clarify more, I suppose...

Gosh, I just re-read and edited this post. Does this sound terribly confusing?

So, like Rawgi + Rawgini = Rawgigini

I realize, too, that the above "mathematical" equation is kinda'/relatively funky, teehee. :)

I'll think about dropping the "ni", thanks, am not certain as to if I will keep the whole bit or not. What do you think now after my explanation? (Well, hopefully that was an adaquate explanation.)

I can see that I will need to do a lot more with this site. It is still in the beginning stages of thought. Please pardon it's "rawness". I've literally spent like 20 minutes on this site alltogether at this point... Things will come along...

yeah, and i'm going to create another post on here when i have a moment about how this is OUR site and not my site and inquire as to ideas for it. also, i will not put advertizing on this site, i am morally/philosophically opposed to such for a site of this nature, unless i am including a link for some free information that is related to this website and it's philosophies somehow, or something along those lines. oh, and about the name, i was thinking perhaps about "spirit of the dawn", as in http://www.spiritofthedawn.ning.com, but i got that from a friend's poem and would have to ask her permission to use that for the actual name of a site. too, i am not very technologically-savvy and do not know if i would have to create a whole new site to do that. that is just a vague thought i recently had, perhaps changing the name. i'm kinda' between this name and that a one. any thoughts you have on anything in regards this site whether it be in reference to the name or otherwise are most welcome, any thoughts that you or any other members have.

i wish i could share more of my ideas right now, but i have to run for now. there was something else i wanted to say...
